Thomas Tindemans is a Belgian national with more than 20 years’ experience in EU Public Affairs and communications. He has an extensive track record of advising corporate, government and NGO clients on their public and corporate affairs strategies. He covers regulatory, legislative and political developments at EU and Member States level, as well as global developments and relations between the EU and the rest of the world.
His expertise covers internal market regulation, including free movement of goods and services, healthcare, intellectual property, environmental policy, energy, new technologies, financial services, media, tax and other areas of EU competence. He developed public affairs support in competition cases and trade negotiations and disputes. Thomas also counsels clients on public affairs aspects of foreign policy.
He speaks frequently at major conferences and has published articles and interviews in major European newspapers and publications.
Thomas Tindemans is co-head of Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ Global PA Practice.
Thomas is a guest lecturer on EU lobbying and interest representation at various academic institutions in Europe. He speaks Dutch, English, French and German and has a law degree.
