Karel’s familiarity with international and EU policies and decision-making is a clear plus for our clients seeking help in navigating the Belgian and European policy media landscapes, be it by enhancing their reputation, advocating for policy change or guiding them through M&A or restructuring processes,” said Thomas Tindemans, Chairman of the Board, H+K Belgium. “But what particularly attracted us to him are his strong people and coaching skills and his outspoken emphasis on integrity. His expertise, dynamism and enthusiasm will further enhance our team’s excellence. He will ensure the continuity of our integrated public affairs and communications offering while he adds fresh views and new know-how.”

Van Eetvelt will report to Melanie Faithfull Kent, CEO Europe, who has led the Belgian operations for the past six years and will now focus on her expanded leadership oversight of Europe and her client advisory work with the Belgian team.
