Barbara Gonzato

Barbara joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies Brussels in November 2014. She advises a range of international companies and associations focusing on sustainability, circular economy and climate issues. Her work involves managing stakeholder and public affairs campaigns at European level. ​

Her recent clients include Duracell, Nespresso, the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic-EFCTC), the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and the European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers Association (ETRMA).

Prior to joining Hill+Knowlton, Barbara has built a sound understanding in corporate communications while working as an International Communications Manager for Walgreens Boots Alliance – a leading international, pharmacy-led health group where she managed various public affairs and communications projects. ​Prior to that, she completed internships at Pesticide Action Network and the European Community of Consumer Co-operatives (Euro Coop).

Barbara holds a Master’s degree in European Governance, major in Civil Society and Lobbying from Sciences Po Grenoble and a Degree in European Affairs from the Sorbonne University. She is a French national, and speaks fluent English and Italian.
