Eva is a member of H+K Belgium’s EU public affairs and communications team. She has several years’ experience in developing and bringing to life clients’ communications, reputation and policy strategies in Brussels. She has extensive experience in the chemicals sector.
Prior to joining H+K, Eva spent half a decade with another Brussels-based consultancy, where she delivered several policy and communications projects for various industries including a major multimarket campaign for Cefic sector group CES-Silicones Europe highlighting the benefit of silicones. She has also managed a successful global campaign on perfluorinated chemicals for W.L. Gore and Associates, and has worked for European Plasticisers, Formacare, as well as several other companies in the chemicals value chain.
Eva also worked at the European Commission’s directorate general for communications networks, content and technology, and at the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in Lebanon. In these roles she delivered key cross-country research projects and presentations.
Eva holds an MSc in Environmental Economics from Tilburg University in the Netherlands and a BSc in International Management from Jonkoping University in Sweden. Originally from Denmark, she worked in the education and tourism sectors in China for four years and studied in Singapore and Istanbul. She speaks fluent Danish, English, Dutch and Mandarin Chinese, intermediate French and German, and basic Arabic.
