Working at the intersection of public affairs and communications, Jess advises a range of international clients on their advocacy and engagement strategies. In her past 5+ years in H+K, she has worked mostly on climate, energy, transport, trade and sustainability issues. Her current and past clients include Mazda Motor Europe, the Avril Group, the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic-EFCTC), the Japan Bank of International Cooperation, the European Lime Association and DG Energy of the European Commission.
Daily, Jess coordinates teams and projects that aim to expand her clients’ advocacy and influence in the European Union, through stakeholder engagement, compelling messaging, the development and implementation of lobbying strategies…
Prior to joining H+K more than 5 years ago, Jess worked as an account executive at Grayling Belgium, where she assisted her clients in their public affairs strategies and outreach, with a particular focus on transport and food policies. Before moving to Belgium, she also worked as a communication assistant in the French Erasmus+ Agency, where she was in charge of promoting EU education programmes on and offline through media relations and social media engagement.
Jess holds a master’s degree in Applied European Policies from Sciences Po Aix (France), as well as a Master’s degree and a BA in European Studies from the University Sorbonne Nouvelle (Paris, France). She also studied in Ireland where she wrote a thesis on Irish politics and economy.
Jess is a French national and has lived in France, Ireland and Belgium. She is fluent in French and English and has a strong command of Spanish and Italian.
