
A Junior Account Executive, Robbe is an EU Public Affairs professional who focuses on clients in the fields of technology, sustainability and financial markets.
He completed an internship at Hill+Knowlton Strategies during his studies. This experience enabled him to gain comprehensive knowledge and skills in PA approaches and in strategically advising various clients from different sectors. In particular, he focused on the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) and on the regulation of CO2 emission standards for cars and vans as part of the European Green Deal.
Robbe holds a master’s degree in European Union Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Ghent, where he graduated with the highest distinction. At university, Robbe specialised in modules on public affairs and European decision-making. His master’s thesis focused on the nexus of EU trade and competition policy.
A Belgian national, he speaks fluent Dutch and English, and is proficient in French and Spanish. He has also studied German and Hungarian. In his spare time, Robbe is an avid badminton player and has a great passion for culture and all things related to food.
