Sam joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies in July 2019. He works across a wide range of sectors and topics including consumer products, professional services and sustainable finance.
Prior to joining H+K Strategies, Sam was an intern at the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both in Washington and Singapore. There, his focus was mainly on economic diplomacy and development. Additionally, he has been actively involved as a member of the board in a Belgian charity focusing on youth mental health. In that capacity, he is responsible for communications and stakeholder outreach.
Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Ghent. He also completed a Master of Science in Political Theory at the London School of Economics and a Master in Economics and Public Policy at SciencesPo Paris. His research focused on the intersection between ethics and economics and the division between politics and the market.
Sam is a native speaker in Dutch. Additionally he is fluent in English, French and proficient in Spanish.
