Valens  Izere

Valens joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies in September 2021 and where he advises clients  in the chemical, food and beverage, consumer (health) goods, and defence sectors.

Valens previously interned at the European Parliament, where he followed MEP Kris Peeters’ delegation activities to Afghanistan and Iran. Following that, he interned at the Belgian federal Parliament, where he worked under the supervision of MP Els van Hoof, chair of the foreign affairs committee. Currently he follows both European- and Belgian policy developments and he advises clients on both markets.

Valens graduated from the University of Antwerp with a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy. He also spent six months studying international relations at Science Po in Toulouse. Valens speaks Dutch, French, English, and Kinyarwanda.

In his free time, he enjoys travelling, cooking, and watching soccer.
